Senior Pastor Job Announcement

Trinity Baptist Church of Moultrie, Georgia, is seeking a senior pastor with excellent preaching ability and a heart for pastoral care. Located in southwest Georgia, our warm and welcoming 250-member congregation, dually aligned with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship and Southern Baptist Convention, has a tradition of community ecumenism, an active committee system, a deacon family ministry (we ordain both men and women as deacons), a strong Sunday School program, and a dedication to missions. As church administrator, our new pastor should take a hands-on role in these ministries. Our worship style is best described as blended. Man in the Mirror Bible Study

The Man in the Mirror Bible Study meets on Fridays at 7:00 AM, in the fellowship hall. All men are welcome to come for breakfast and Bible study.

Register for Vacation Bible School

Join us for Vacation Bible School June 20-24, 6:30-8:30 PM. This year's theme is "On the Case." Come and help us solve the mystery. Sign-up is posted in the preschool department hallway next to the nursery.

Plus 55 Events

On Saturday, May 7, the group will see a matinee of Troubadours: The Music of Carole King and James Taylor. We will leave the church at 8:00 AM. Tickets are $75 per person and include a three-course meal. You may register and pay online or pay by check in the church office.

The Plus 55 will enjoy a picnic lunch at Bell's Daylily Garden on Thursday, May 19. Departure time is 8:30 AM (Note: there will be not be a regular luncheon meeting in May).

The group has another outing planned for the Alhambra theater on Saturday, June 11, to see the musical 42 Street. The group will leave the church at 8:00 AM. Tickets are $75 per person and include lunch. Please make checks payable to Larue Calhoun (not Trinity).

On Sunday, July 10, immediately following morning worship, the Plus 55 will go to Valdosta, have lunch (dutch treat), and then see the musical Aint Misbehavin’ at the Peach State Theatre. Tickets are $25 per person. You may sign up and pay online or by check in the church office.

Family Afternoon Out

The Youth and Children’s Departments are hosting a “Family Afternoon Out” at Thomasville Pin Split, on Saturday, April 30. Meet at the church at 12:00 PM or at the bowling alley at 12:30 PM. The only cost will be for shoe rental.  

Children's Ministry Service Projects

If you have a service project or a need that the children's ministry can help you with, please contact either Kennedy McCurdy or the church office. The children will be doing service projects on Wednesday evenings.

Finance Committee Meeting

The Finance Committee will meet on Tuesday, May 10, at 5:30 PM, in the fellowship hall.

Church Council Meeting

The Church Council will meet on Sunday, May 15, immediately following morning worship. Lunch will be served.

Deacon's Meeting

The deacons will meet on Sunday, May 15, at 6:00 PM, in the fellowship hall.

Graduate Recognition

We have one high school graduate: Hayes Lightsey.

If you know of any other high school or college students from Trinity who will be graduating this spring, please contact the church office by Wednesday, May 18.

G1 Students End-of-Year Outing

Our G1 Students will be going to Albany Fun Park on Saturday, May 21. Meet at the church at 12:00 PM.

Children's End-of-Year Party

The children will have an end-of-year party on Wednesday May 25, 4:30-6:30 PM. Look for more details to come.
